When I was in the airport this weekend, I saw this Bible on the shelf of a bookstore.
This is what the by-line of the Bible reads:
"Verses and passages that speak to God's care for creation highlighted in green
A green Bible index and personal study guide
Recycled paper, using soy-based ink with a cotton/linen cover"
I'm all about helping the environment, but seriously? Instead of highlighting Jesus' words in red, any sentence about the earth is now in green. Instead of the focus being on Christ saving the lost, it's all about saving the planet.
