involving my kids in the cleaning

The night I created my cleaning plan, I also made one for the kids. I decided that I needed to help train them to be involved in the process. Until now, I have nagged and nagged until the job gets done. Caroline is a great helper, but Quinn hasn't wanted to do anything. Until now...
Quinn and I made this chart below together.

When the kids do their jobs, like cleaning their rooms, setting the table, picking up toys outside, etc. they get a slicker by their name. 20 stickers=fun family activity (like getting ice cream). Quinn is so motivated by getting these stickers that he is cleaning up without me even asking! The newness could wear off soon, but until then I am going to use it to my advantage. :)

ps-my own cleaning plan is also well. I feel more productive, but I'm not overdoing it. Today was the first day I haven't done my "job". I was supposed to clean the kid's rooms, but we just had a full day and I had to clean other rooms because I was having book club here tonight.
