The past two days have been a crash course in helping special needs kids. When you are only here for a week, there is no time for training or time to be out of your comfort zone. You just have to jump right in! Each kid is so unique, and enjoy doing different activities. It was another pretty (and cold) day, so we spent a lot of time outside. On our team we have an autism specialist and a mom of an autistic child. They work inside with the teachers and a few students at a time, free from distraction of lots of students all at once.

Here is our team in the Ukrainian Church we went to on Sunday. It had to be completely restored after the Soviets took it over and used it for many things including a nightclub.
Disclaimer: one of the missionaries here is an excellent photographer and he took the pictures above. I will try to steal more from him.
